Over the past 40 years he has not only achieved this but is also one of the largest manufacturers left in Australia supplying furniture nationally and picking up numerous awards for his designs along the way.

Tony is passionate about design and travels constantly to international fairs keeping up to date with the latest designs and trends and relaying that to his dedicated team of furniture designers.

Tony’s new venture CENTRIC DESIGNS came about accidentally when one of his team visited a loved one in aged care.  She noticed that whilst some of the furniture was presentable it was hard, extremely uncomfortable and certainly not beneficial for residents who spend a lot of time seated.  Distressed about the situation she mentioned her visit to Tony and being someone passionate about good design and comfort he decided there must be a way to improve this.  He discovered the main reason for lack of comfort was the use of waterproof fabrics and standard foams, so being up for a challenge he worked closely with his team to resolve this issue.  The outcome is a unique system to ensure that even chairs upholstered in waterproof fabrics are extremely comfortable.
